आज ज्यादातर स्कूल अपनी marksheet design कैसे बनाते हैं

Term-end report card distribution से दो हफ्ते पहले की बात है। Lucknow के एक CBSE स्कूल के principal को अभी एहसास हुआ है कि पिछले साल की marksheet design इस academic session में board जो मांग रहा है उससे match नहीं करती। स्कूल को एक नया co-scholastic column add करना है, school logo updated वाले से बदलना है, और रंग faded blue से नई brand teal में switch करना है। पिछले साल जिस MS Word file का इस्तेमाल हुआ था वो किसी पूर्व office assistant के laptop पर थी और वो laptop wipe हो चुका है। Grade calculation की formula वाली Excel file कल टूट गई जब किसी ने 'Update links' click कर दिया।

दो interns खींच लिए जाते हैं। तीन दिन बर्बाद होते हैं। नई design parents के बच्चे का report card expect करने से 36 घंटे पहले finally तैयार होती है। आधी marksheets गलत margins पर print हो जाती हैं क्योंकि office printer पर 'scale to fit' किसी ने सही नहीं set किया। Principal corridor में फिर से माफी मांगते हैं — इस बार marks गलत होने की नहीं, design गलत होने की।

Design templates के लिए typical school workflows

Limits, safety, और हर design admin को पूछने चाहिए वो छोटी-छोटी बातें

Templates visual decisions carry करते हैं जो हजारों marksheets में flow होते हैं। नीचे दिए protections batches के बीच silent design drift रोकने के लिए हैं।

Locked templates immutable होते हैं। एक बार lock होने के बाद, कोई भी user — principal भी — locked template के fields edit नहीं कर सकता। Changes के लिए reason के साथ explicit Unlock चाहिए; audit log lock-unlock chain preserve करता है। यह जानबूझकर है: system कह रहा है 'आपने इस term के लिए इस design पर commit किया — generation के बीच में इसे मत बदलिये'।
