By board
Built for your board's actual paperwork.
A CBSE report card is not an ICSE report card, and neither is an IB transcript. Inkwelly ships the grading scheme, the certificate formats and the assessment structure your board expects.

- CBSE schoolsCBSE retired CCE in 2017, and a lot of school software never caught up. Inkwelly follows the assessment structure CBSE runs today — periodic tests, portfolios and subject enrichment feeding a 20-mark internal component against an 80-mark annual paper.
- IB schoolsThe three IB programmes assess in three genuinely different ways, and software that treats them as one gradebook makes every one of them harder. Inkwelly keeps them separate, because the board does.
- ICSE / ISC schoolsICSE and ISC carry the most detailed academic reporting of any Indian board — more subjects, marks rather than broad grades, and internal assessment that genuinely counts. Software that flattens all that into a single term total is fighting the board.
- IGCSE / Cambridge schoolsA Cambridge school runs a long ladder — Primary, Lower Secondary and Checkpoint, then IGCSE, then AS and A Level — with coursework running alongside external papers the whole way. The record has to hold both without confusing them.
- Madrasa and minority institutionsInstitutions running a religious curriculum alongside a state one carry two academic records for every student, often in two scripts, frequently with residential students and fees that come from donations rather than families. Very little school software is built with any of that in mind.
- NIOS schoolsAlmost all school software assumes an annual cohort — everyone joins in April, moves up together, sits the same exams. NIOS breaks that assumption on purpose, and software built around it fights you every day.
- State board schoolsState board schools are the largest part of Indian education and the worst served by school software, which tends to be built in English for metro private schools and translated afterwards, if at all.
