Why Inkwelly exists

Indian schools deserve better software. The existing ERPs in the market — you know the names — were built a decade ago. They look dated, teachers don't use them, parents get SMS from 2012, and reconciliation on the 1st of the month still happens in Excel.

Schools pay ₹1-3 lakh a year for this and keep paying because switching is terrifying. It shouldn't be. Inkwelly exists to make switching the simplest part of the relationship.

Who's behind it

I'm Rajendra Verma, founder. I wrote every line of Inkwelly. I handle demos, onboarding, and support. I live in a flat in Noida and work on this full-time.

Inkwelly is built with heavy AI assistance — product design, code generation, customer research — which is how a solo founder can ship a real school ERP. The product is modern tech end-to-end: Next.js and React on the web, Flutter on mobile, NestJS and PostgreSQL on the backend, AWS Mumbai for hosting.

What we're optimised for

• Teachers using it. A school ERP teachers don't use is a data graveyard. Every workflow is tuned for under-a-minute usage on cheap Android phones.
• Parents on WhatsApp. Indian parents live on WhatsApp. We meet them there. No forced app installs.
• Office staff who sleep better. Reconciliation in minutes, not hours. Tally export in one click. Fee reminders that run themselves.
• Schools that can leave. 90-day pilot, pro-rata refund, data back in standard formats. We earn the relationship every year.

What we don't do

We don't do live online classes (we integrate with Zoom and Google Meet). We don't do classroom LMS content (we integrate with your existing tools). We don't do after-sales upsells (every module is included for the price you pay).

We also don't do slide-deck demos. Every demo uses your actual data. If there's nothing to show, there's nothing to buy.

Where we're going

The first-year goal is 20 paying schools. Solo-founder, lean, AI-assisted. No investor deck, no growth-hacker playbook — just real conversations with real principals in Tier-1, Tier-2, and Tier-3 India. If you run a school and want to talk, my number is at the bottom of every page.
