Inkwelly में student की पूरी profile देखने के लिए: Students खोलिए, name, student ID, या admission number से search कीजिए, और row पर tap कीजिए। Profile page सबसे ऊपर header card दिखाता है — photo, status, current class, roll number, और एक छोटी meter जो record कितना भरा है दिखाती है। नीचे सात tabs होते हैं: Summary, Family, Academic, Addresses, Bank Details, Documents, और Custom Fields। मिलकर ये वो हर field रखते हैं जो office staff और class teachers को चाहिए।

स्टेप 1 — Student की profile खोलिए
1. Student की profile खोलिए। Left menu से Students पर tap कीजिए — All Students list खुलेगी। Search bar में student के name का कोई हिस्सा, पूरा student ID (जैसे STD-001247), या admission number (जैसे KSM/2026/0247) type कीजिए। Inkwelly per-school search करता है — 50,000 students पर भी results एक second से कम में आते हैं। Row पर tap करके profile खोलिए।
अगर पहले से link है — मान लीजिए class teacher ने WhatsApp में paste किया है — सीधा खोलिए। Inkwelly link के अंत में name, student ID, या admission number — तीनों को पहचानता है, इसलिए पुराने system में अलग identifier होने पर भी links काम करते रहते हैं।
स्टेप 2 — ऊपर का header card पढ़िए
2. ऊपर का header card पढ़िए। Profile के सबसे ऊपर एक panel होता है जिसमें वो सब है जो office assistant या class teacher को एक नज़र में चाहिए: एक बड़ा photo, student का full name, और एक status chip — Active, Suspended, या Graduated — और बग़ल में eligibility chips (RTE, CWSN, BPL) जब applicable हों। chips के नीचे current class और roll number उस academic year का जो आपने ऊपर select किया है, और एक छोटी ring जो record कितना भरा है दिखाती है। Pencil button page छोड़े बिना identity fields edit करता है। Right side का three-dot menu Promote, Suspend, Delete — heavy actions रखता है, और सिर्फ़ उन staff को दिखता है जिनके पास उस change की permission है। अगर खोला हुआ student चुने हुए साल में enrol नहीं है — मान लीजिए graduated student इस साल के view में — header फिर भी last-known class और roll दिखाता है, screen blank नहीं रहती।
स्टेप 3 — Family tab खोलिए
3. Family tab खोलिए। Family tab के बग़ल का छोटा number बताता है कितने parents और siblings linked हैं। अंदर हर parent — father, mother, या guardian — के लिए एक card होता है — name, mobile, occupation, और primary-contact flag के साथ। नीचे siblings की list होती है, हर sibling की profile पर quick links के साथ। ऊपर का Add parent button एक side panel खोलता है — missing father, mother, या guardian fill करने के लिए useful जब single-parent admission में दूसरा parent बाद में भरना हो। Family edits siblings पर अपने आप travel करती हैं, इसलिए एक student पर mother का mobile update करने से हर linked sibling पर भी update हो जाता है, बिना दोबारा type किए।
स्टेप 4 — Academic tab खोलिए
4. Academic tab खोलिए। यह tab profile का academic backbone है: current class और section, joining date, साल-दर-साल promotion history, और previous-school block (school name, board, last class passed, TC number)। जो schools Inkwelly में marks enter करते हैं, उनके लिए सबसे recent term का marks summary यहीं दिखता है — class teacher parent के progress वाले सवाल का जवाब दूसरी screen खोले बिना दे सकता है। CBSE-affiliated schools को यह admission-history record CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws Chapter VI Section 6.1 के अनुसार रखना ज़रूरी है — Inkwelly इसे long term के लिए रखता है ताकि audit कभी blank row पर न पहुँचे।
स्टेप 5 — Addresses, Bank Details, और Documents खोलिए
5. Addresses, Bank Details, और Documents खोलिए। Addresses tab में permanent, current, और correspondence cards होते हैं (clarity के लिए छोटा number badge)। Postal code, city, state, और country इसी screen पर होते हैं — वही fields जो बाद में Transfer Certificate या marksheet में auto-fill होते हैं। Bank Details tab में account number, IFSC, और beneficiary name होते हैं — fee refunds और scholarship payouts के लिए। Documents tab हर uploaded file (Aadhaar card, birth certificate, previous-school TC, medical record) preview, download, और version history के साथ list करता है। Inkwelly हर document का पुराना version background में रखता है — ग़लती से overwrite हुआ Aadhaar file के version drawer से वापस आ जाता है।
स्टेप 6 — ज़रूरत हो तो three-dot menu use कीजिए
6. ज़रूरत हो तो three-dot menu use कीजिए। Top header का three-dot menu वो तीन actions रखता है जो class teacher या admin profile review के बाद use करते हैं: Promote (student को अगली class में move कीजिए), Suspend (reason के साथ student को suspended mark कीजिए), और Delete (30-दिन के restore window वाला soft-delete)। हर option सिर्फ़ उन staff को दिखता है जिनके पास उस action की permission है, और अगर तीनों में से किसी की permission नहीं है तो menu खुद hide हो जाता है। सातवाँ tab — Custom Fields — सिर्फ़ तब दिखता है जब school ने Settings में कम से कम एक custom field set किया हो; अगर वह missing है, यही reason है।
आम मिस्टेक्स — जो office staff पहली बार miss करते हैं
- ऊपर ग़लत साल select। Summary tab और header chips class और roll उसी academic year से पढ़ते हैं जो आपने ऊपर select किया है। अगर graduated student को उसके leaving year में देख रहे हैं, top-bar year उसी साल पर switch कीजिए — वरना header उस साल के लिए current class नहीं, last-known class दिखाएगा।
- Three-dot menu missing। अगर Promote, Suspend, या Delete नहीं दिख रहे, तो किसी की permission नहीं है। तीनों में से कोई भी न मिलने पर menu खुद hide हो जाता है — अपने admin से Identity & Access Management में सही action grant करवाइए।
- लंबे admission numbers header में cut हो जाते हैं। Header 20 characters से बड़े admission strings को तीन dots के साथ crop कर देता है ताकि layout clean रहे — hover करके पूरा देखिए, या Academic tab खोलिए जहाँ हमेशा full दिखता है।
- Custom Fields tab missing। सातवाँ tab सिर्फ़ तब दिखता है जब school ने कम से कम एक custom field set किया हो। Settings → Students → Custom Fields में जाकर एक add कीजिए, फिर profile refresh कीजिए।
- Photo slow connection पर load नहीं होता। Photos fast network से serve होते हैं और एक generic avatar पर fall back करते हैं। Hotspot networks पर एक बार refresh कीजिए — अगली बार cached version instantly load होगा।
- Completion meter 100% से नीचे अटका है। Meter पर hover कीजिए — कौन से sections खाली हैं वो दिखेगा (अक्सर parent occupation, mother tongue, blood group, या Aadhaar / APAAR ID)। उन्हें भरने से meter ऊपर बढ़ती है, बिना हर tab खोले।
आगे क्या
- पहली बार admission कर रहे हैं — इस profile को खोलने से पहले single-admission flow से शुरू कीजिए, क्योंकि ऊपर screen पर हर field admission के time पर ही capture होती है।
- एक साथ कई incomplete profiles साफ़ करनी हैं — जब 50+ completion meters 80% से नीचे हों, Bulk update student records का spreadsheet workflow देखिए।

हाँ। Profile page एक shareable link है, और Inkwelly वही screen खोलता है — चाहे link के अंत में student का name हो, student ID हो, या admission number हो। Fee receipt से paste (admission number के साथ) हो या CRM से (student ID के साथ), दोनों same profile खोलते हैं। जिस teacher के साथ share कर रहे हैं उसे student records देखने का access चाहिए; उसके बिना clear access-denied message दिखेगा, 404 नहीं।
Profile पर completion meter का क्या मतलब है?
यह उस student के expected profile fields का share है जो भरे हैं — identity, parent details, address, documents, और कोई भी required custom fields। Inkwelly categories को weight करता है, इसलिए missing photo या Aadhaar meter को optional missing occupation से ज़्यादा pull-down करता है। Header card पर meter पर hover कीजिए — कौन से sections खाली हैं वो दिखेगा; उन्हें update करने से percentage ऊपर बढ़ती है, बिना हर tab खोले।
Student की profile पर Custom Fields tab क्यों नहीं दिख रहा?
सातवाँ tab सिर्फ़ तब दिखता है जब school ने कम से कम एक custom field set किया हो। Settings → Students → Custom Fields में जाइए, ज़रूरी fields add कीजिए (medical conditions, sibling discount note, transport stop, etc.), और profile refresh कीजिए — tab नए fields के साथ दिखेगा। तब तक navigation में सात की जगह छह tabs होंगे।
क्या parent वही profile देख सकता है जो school admin Inkwelly में देखता है?
नहीं। Parents को parent-app view दिखता है, जो admin profile का छोटा view है — identity, current class, attendance, fees, results, transport stop, और वो documents जो school ने parent-visible mark किए हैं। Admin-side सात-tab profile (Summary, Family, Academic, Addresses, Bank Details, Documents, Custom Fields) staff-only है और student records देखने के access से gated है। Bank account numbers, internal notes, और दूसरे sensitive fields parent app पर render नहीं होते — चाहे parent log in भी कर ले।

Summary tab और header card current class और roll उसी academic year से pull करते हैं जो आपने ऊपर select किया है। अगर student की उस साल में enrolment नहीं है (जैसे पिछले साल graduate हुआ और आप इस साल देख रहे हैं), Inkwelly last-known class पर fall back करता है — header कभी blank नहीं होता। पिछले साल का class और roll specifically देखना है तो top-bar year switch कीजिए।
क्या मैं इसी profile से fields directly edit कर सकता हूँ, या अलग screen खोलनी पड़ेगी?
Identity fields (name, date of birth, photo, gender, mobile, blood group) header card के pencil button से inline edit होते हैं। Family, Academic, Addresses, Bank Details, Documents, और Custom Fields — हर एक का अपने tab पर edit option है — कोई अलग edit screen खोलने की ज़रूरत नहीं। Edit permission हर group पर check होती है — अगर tab का pencil missing है, तो user के पास उस group को edit करने की permission नहीं है।
