• Fee Sheet: One screen per class shows every student's fee, head by head. Accountants set a student's own yearly fee (no transport, fee agreed at admission) or whole-year discounts in ₹ or %, for one or many students. Student fee module.
• Fines and late fees: A Fines column shows what each student owes. Staff add, change, waive or remove a fine on a chosen invoice; parents are messaged. Late fee is waived, added or stopped for the year, for many at once.
• Previous dues (carry forward): A Prev. dues column shows last year's dues and who was not brought forward. Staff add an old balance, write off, bring unpaid invoices forward or send back a wrong carry. Balance, now last, totals everything owed, with a hover breakdown.
• Safe changes: Every save needs a reason and the Transaction PIN, stays in History and is undoable exactly for 24 hours. Paid fees never change; remaining bills absorb the difference and their payment links cancel.
• Fee setup for new admissions: Students without a fee profile are set up here: fee group, start date, prorated mid-year entry, RTE. One student or a whole class, each from their joining date, with one PIN.
• Clear fee changes: Clicking a fee shows before and after, amount paid and lowest fee allowed. Each installment lists fee, discount, payable and paid, and why a paid or locked one cannot change.
• Discount breakdown: Before saving, staff see the installment and fee head a discount comes off and what the parent then pays. Discount types are created on the spot; a fee head's discounts are edited or removed there.
• Discounts on the sheet: Every fee head shows its discount; unsaved changes stay highlighted. A student's name opens fee heads, invoices, discounts, fines, previous dues, total due and past changes.
• School control: Off by default; switched on in Fee Settings, it appears in the menu. 200 students a page, parent's name and mobile on hover, English and Hindi.
• Bills and apps: New bills charge each student's own amount and skip a ₹0 fee head. Parents see their child's real amounts in the app; the fee profile page and staff app mark own fees.
• Accurate numbers everywhere: RTE reimbursement claims, sibling and staff-child discounts, bulk billing previews and billing coverage follow each student's own yearly fee. A fee-group change recalculates totals at once.
• Inkwelly AI: Answers "whose fee was changed, by whom and why", uses each student's own fee for dues and bills, and can stop a late fee.
• Student portal: The home fee card shows the year's fee and amount paid.
