• Staff attendance: Until now every staff member followed their department's timing. Principals can now give any one teacher, driver or guard their own in and out time for each weekday, Mon–Sat in one save, with their own late time, grace, absent cutoff, check-in window and minimum hours. • Everywhere it counts: Mobile check-in, biometric machines, late marking, check-in reminders and auto-absent now judge each person by their own timing, falling back to the department's only when none is set.
• Half-day and overtime: Schools can switch on half-day, minimum-hours and overtime rules. They apply to each person's own shift, so a part-timer needs proportionally fewer hours. Off by default, and an admin's correction always wins.
• Staff app: Teachers see their own in time, late-after time and shift length in the Inkwelly staff app, even on older app versions. Admins see who has a personal timing on every staff attendance profile.
• Inkwelly AI: Office staff can ask the AI to set a personal timing ("Verma sir 8 se 2 aate hain, late 8:10 ke baad"), with a preview before anything is saved.
