आज parents school bus कैसे track करते हैं

7:38 a.m. है। एक Class 3 student की माँ Indore में अपने colony के gate पर खड़ी इंतज़ार कर रही है। Bus 7:35 पर आनी थी। कोई horn नहीं। उसे नहीं पता कि bus school से निकल चुकी है, bypass railway crossing पर फंसी है, tyre flat हो गया है, या दो stops दूर बैठी है क्योंकि दो siblings नीचे नहीं आए। वो school office को call करती है — receptionist बोलती है "आ रही है"। 7:42 पर फिर call। वही जवाब। 7:45 तक वो colony की तीन और mothers के WhatsApp group पर compare कर रही है।

School office में receptionist 20 minute में पाँच "bus कहाँ है" calls answer कर चुकी है, और "आ रही है" genuinely वही है जो उसे पता है। Transport in-charge अपने cubicle में याद कर रहा है कि late वाली bus वही है जिसकी कल brake check हुई थी या कोई और। उसके पास कोई screen नहीं जो बोले "Bus 4 Stop 3 पर है, driver ने 90 second पहले ping किया, आपके stop तक 4 minute"। वो बस best की उम्मीद करता है।

Live tracking actually Tuesday morning कैसे काम करती है

6:30 a.m. पर driver अपने bus dashboard पर clip phone पर Inkwelly Driver app खोलता है। App उसे आज की trips दिखाती है — morning pickup, afternoon drop, दोनों। जब bus school से निकलती है वो Start Trip tap करता है। उस moment से phone का GPS हर कुछ second पर ping करता है और trace Inkwelly के Mumbai servers पर stream होती है।

उस route के 100 parents 6:30 से 7:30 के बीच parent app खोलते हैं। Transport tab में बच्चे की bus live map पर चलती हुई दिखती है, current stop जहाँ bus अभी निकली है, अगला आने वाला stop, बच्चे के stop पर planned arrival, और live arrival time जो bus के actually चलने के साथ update होती है। जैसे-जैसे stops complete होते हैं, stop list update होती है। जब bus बच्चे के pickup point से दो stops दूर हो, WhatsApp alert automatic चला जाता है।

Transport in-charge chai के saath admin screen खोलता है। आज की हर trip listed है — bus, driver, planned start time, actual start time, current location, कितने बच्चे board पर, route से कोई deviation। Filter date, route, bus, driver, direction (morning या drop), या trip status (planned, started, on the way, completed, cancelled) से। एक screen, पूरा fleet।

जब driver हर stop पर पहुँचता है, वो हर बच्चे को boarded, absent या no-show tap करता है — वो automatically दिन की transport attendance बनती है। अगर bus सड़क खुदी होने के कारण route से deviate करे, in-charge admin map पर deviation देखता है और driver को किसी parent के सवाल से पहले call कर सकता है।

Live tracking के लिए 5 असली moments

1. Indore की 7:42 a.m. worried mother की call. पुराना तरीक़ा: माँ office को call, receptionist "आ रही है"। Inkwelly: माँ parent app खोलती है, Bus 4 Stop 3 पर, अपने stop तक 4 minute, इंतज़ार करती है। कोई phone call नहीं। Receptionist की morning free।

2. Stop 5 पर flat tyre. Driver 6:42 a.m. पर Start Trip tap करता है। Bus Stop 4 on time, फिर route से deviate करके tyre repair shop। In-charge fleet view पर route deviation flag देखता है, driver को call करता है। Driver puncture report करता है। In-charge trip notes update, stops 5 से 9 के parents को automatic delay alert, spare bus dispatch। Parents call करने से पहले inform।

3. Principal की 8:35 a.m. ops review. Principal walk in करता है। Fleet view 5 buses completed, 1 अभी on the way (8 minute late), 0 cancelled। कल की trip log एक click। पिछले 7 दिन का on-time percentage per route एक और click। "check करके बताता हूँ" नहीं।

4. Tuesday का substitute bus. Bus 4 workshop पर। In-charge Bus 12 को Route 4 पर swap। Bus 12 के driver phone पर Driver app अब Route 4 — वही stops, वही बच्चे, वही timings। Parents parent app पर बच्चे की bus की live tracking continue देखते हैं। Swap का पता भी नहीं चलता। School की transport reliability effortless।

5. Month-end ops review. In-charge महीने की trips report — average start delay per route, average end delay per route, cancellations by reason, deviations by route, top 3 routes by complaint count। निर्णय: Route 7 re-time (consistent 6 minute delay), Driver Suresh को speed-control train (पिछले महीने 3 alerts), Vendor B की Bus 14 swap (30 days में 2 breakdowns)। Numbers, opinions नहीं।

Limits, safety और small print

GPS कहाँ से आत“e है। Default और recommended source driver का Android phone जिस पर Inkwelly Driver app चल रही है। हर भारतीय school के लिए fleet size पर ध्यान दिए बिना काम करता है। जिन schools के पास already vehicle-mounted GPS trackers हैं (कुछ State RTOs contract carriages पर require करते हैं) वो Driver app source के साथ plug कर सकते हैं। Integration guide मांगिए।

No-signal stretches। Driver app route, stop list और child list offline cache करती है। Out of range होने पर GPS pings device पर queue होती हैं और connectivity आते ही sync। Parent app last-known location "last seen X minutes ago" label के साथ दिखाती है। Tier-3 outskirts, hostel-route mountain passes और railway underpasses में data loss के बिना tested।

Driver का phone। कोई भी Android 8 या नया phone with 3 GB RAM Driver app को 12-hour shift पर single charge पर चलाता है। ₹8,000 device काम करता है। School phone issue कर सकता है या driver के अपने phone को allowance के साथ use।

Privacy। Live GPS traces assigned parent को सिर्फ अपने बच्चे की bus के लिए, और सिर्फ active trips के दौरान visible। दूसरे parents दूसरे बच्चों की buses नहीं देखते। In-charge, principal और accountant (billing context) पूरा fleet देखते हैं। GPS traces 30 days retain होते हैं और automatically purge। Trip active न होने पर Driver app GPS off — drivers trip hours के बाहर कभी track नहीं होते।

Multi-language families। Parent app और in-trip alerts English और Hindi में available। Hindi चुनने वाले parent को Hindi-language arrival messages मिलती हैं, Latin digits में। Tamil, Marathi और Bengali road map पर।
