read and sign school diary notes on a full note page
New feature shipped to Inkwelly— India's most actively developed school management software. This change is in production at real Indian schools today, not on a roadmap.
School Diary: The parent app now shows a teacher's notes as a real school diary — ruled pages grouped month by month, with appreciation and concerns colour-coded so a parent can tell them apart without reading a word.
Note page: Tapping a note opens it in full with every photo and voice note, plus one-tap sign-off. A reminder message about an unsigned note now opens that exact note, and class teachers can see that it reached the family.
Hindi: Parents can switch the whole diary between English and Hindi, and notes a school wrote in Hindi now display in Hindi — useful for Hindi-medium schools across Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. See parent communication.
School settings: Schools that renamed this module now see their own name for it, and the "who is signing" picker follows each school's own preference.
