let AI create homework and events with your approval

New feature shipped to Inkwelly— India's most actively developed school management software. This change is in production at real Indian schools today, not on a roadmap.

  • AI actions: School staff can now ask ChatGPT or Claude to do the work, not just answer — draft and publish homework, add exams and functions to the school calendar, plan Annual Day programs, and log daily syllabus coverage — in English or Hindi.
  • Approval-first safety: Anything that deletes, publishes, or notifies parents first shows a preview the staff member must approve; homework drafts stay invisible to students until published, and holidays can never be touched by AI. Every action is recorded with who did it, what changed, and when.
  • Admin control: Actions stay off for every existing AI connection unless a school admin explicitly switches them on per connection from the AI Connect dashboard — which now shows an actions counter, a recent-actions feed, and a dedicated Actions filter in the activity history.

This isn't a roadmap. It's already running in your competitor's school.
