give teachers one screen for each subject they teach
New feature shipped to Inkwelly— India's most actively developed school management software. This change is in production at real Indian schools today, not on a roadmap.
Subject screen: A teacher opens any subject they take and swipes
between four pages — chapters covered, homework set, tests taken and
study material shared. The class list, syllabus progress and teaching
journal sit at the top. Part of
academics.
Chapters: Every chapter carries a progress ring around its number,
coloured to show whether the class is on track, at risk or behind the
plan for the year.
Study material: Photos, worksheets and videos shared with a class
now show on the screen itself instead of as a list of file names.
Images swipe like a photo feed, videos show their still frame, and
question papers open in the reader in one tap.
Quick add: A plus button on each page creates homework, a class
test or new study material for that subject, with the class already
filled in. See homework.
