Inkwelly AI creates Excel sheets and PDF reports right in the chat
New feature shipped to Inkwelly— India's most actively developed school management software. This change is in production at real Indian schools today, not on a roadmap.
AI files: ask for any list as Excel ("class 10 ke students ki list Excel me do") or a report as PDF — the AI builds the file and previews it beside the chat: an Excel-style grid with gridlines, column letters, banded rows and sheet tabs, or an A4 document page, each with a one-click Download.
Built for real data: the AI assembles the full list server-side — thousands of rows land in the file even when the chat shows a shortened view — and every file stays private to the person who asked for it.
A preview that behaves like Excel: drag the panel edge to resize it, drag between column letters to resize columns, and Hindi text renders correctly in both the grid and the PDF.
Fixes: approving an AI action no longer drops that answer's step-by-step detail from history, tool activity now shows row counts, and AI guide updates apply more reliably.
