Inkwelly Communications is now live for every school on the platform. One workspace replaces the WhatsApp Web tab, the SMS gateway login, the school Gmail account and the spare smartphone in the office drawer. Every meaningful event in the rest of Inkwelly — a fee payment in Student Fee, an absence marked in Student Attendance, a marksheet published in Examinations, a homework assigned in Homework — now automatically lands on the parent's WhatsApp, SMS, Email or app push, in their preferred language, within seconds.

3 questionsIs the Communications module a paid add-on?
No. Communications is included with every Inkwelly plan from day one. WhatsApp conversation cost is what Meta charges your business account; SMS rates depend on your DLT-registered vendor; email at school volumes is approximately ₹0.01 per email; push is free. Inkwelly does not add a per-message margin on top.
Do we need to migrate from our existing WhatsApp groups and SMS panel?
Two weekends, fully live. Your existing TRAI DLT registration is honoured day one — no re-registration wait. The WhatsApp Business number stays the same so parents see the same sender. The personal SMS account decommissions once the school's Inkwelly-issued account is verified. Parents see no disruption.
Is the Hindi version available from day one?
Yes. Every ready-to-use template ships in English and Hindi on every channel. Each parent automatically gets the version in their preferred language. The /hi/modules/communications page is live alongside the English page, and every one of the fifteen feature deep-dives has a Hindi sibling.
