Why schools look elsewhere
The complaint we hear first is almost never about features. It is that teachers don't use it. A school ERP teachers avoid becomes a data graveyard — the office types in what the register already recorded, and the school pays for software to duplicate paper.
The second is parent communication. If fee reminders and absence alerts go out as SMS, a large share are never read, and the office ends up on the phone — which is the work the software was bought to remove.

Where Entab is the better choice: it has been in Indian schools a long time and knows the awkward corners of school administration that newer products haven't met yet. If they have already built something specific for your school, that has real value — ask us to show you that exact case on the demo before you assume we cover it.
What changes in the first week
- Parents get fee reminders, absence alerts and results on WhatsApp instead of SMS they don't open.
- Teachers mark a class on their own phone, in Hindi or your regional language.
- Payments reconcile themselves across UPI, Razorpay, PayU, Paytm, Cashfree and direct ICICI, HDFC and SBI transfers.
- The day's collection, absentees and defaulters are a glance rather than a request to the office.
Getting your data out
The question schools ask most about leaving a large incumbent is whether they can. In our experience the export usually comes, though it can take chasing.

What does Inkwelly cost?
₹49–₹199 per student per year, flat at any school size — no enrolment slabs and no per-module upsell. A 500-student school on the middle plan is about ₹49,500 a year. Migration, training and setup are ₹0. The only external costs are WhatsApp message fees and your payment gateway's transaction charge, both billed at cost.
How quickly can we go live?
Go-live can be the next working day. You pick the date; we don't need months of parallel running to get there. Bringing across years of historical records — old marks, past fee ledgers, archived certificates — runs on its own track afterwards and doesn't hold up day one.
Can we try it before committing?
90-day paid pilot on your real data. If it isn't working at day 90, pro-rata refund and your data back in standard formats. We don't offer a free trial on dummy data — it proves nothing to either of us. The pilot runs on your real students, your real fees.
Is switching from Entab painful?
It's the part we own. We extract, clean and load into a staging school you can log into and check before anything is live. You approve it, then you pick a go-live date. What we need from you is a few hours of the office's time during cleaning and one day for training.
What if Entab won't release our data?
It slows us down; it doesn't stop us. We've rebuilt schools from Excel exports, accounts systems and printed registers before. Your data being awkward to get out is not a reason to stay.
Is CampusCare the same thing as Entab?
CampusCare is Entab's school management product, so schools use the two names interchangeably. This page covers both.
Our teachers aren't confident with software. Will they actually use it?
The teacher app does one thing well — attendance and marks, in under a minute a class, on any Android phone, in Hindi or your regional language. We do a full day of on-site training at go-live and stay on WhatsApp through the first month. If a teacher is still struggling after that, we come back at no cost.
Where is our data, and can we get it out?
Hosted on AWS Mumbai. Daily encrypted backups, role-based access, and a full export in standard formats whenever you ask — including on the way out.
