The 14-day migration
Day 1-2: Kick-off. You send us every Excel you currently use — student list, fee structure, receipts, attendance, staff salary sheet, marks, admissions log. Messy is fine; we'll clean.
Day 3-8: Normalisation. We clean, deduplicate, and restructure into Inkwelly's schema. This is where most of the work is. We return specific questions like 'is class 7-A the same as Class VII-A?' for your team to answer.
Day 9-11: Staging load + your review. You log in and verify. Fee heads, class structure, report card formats — all editable.
Day 12-13: On-site training. We come to your school for a day. Hindi / regional language options available.
Day 14: Go-live. The 1st of the chosen month.

What if our Excels are really messy?
They always are. We've seen it all — inconsistent class names, mixed date formats, merged cells, handwritten receipts mixed with typed. We handle the mess; you just answer specific questions when we ask.
Historical Excel data — do we lose it?
No. We preserve every historical fee, mark, and attendance record in Inkwelly. Your Excels remain as a backup. You can export at any time.
What about printed registers (attendance, marks)?
For the current year, we type them in during migration. For historical years, we recommend keeping the physical registers and digitising only summary data. Your call.
Is this affordable for smaller schools?
Per-student pricing typically works out to ₹1–3 lakh per school per year. For a 500-student school that's under ₹30/student/month. The time saved in the office usually pays for it in a month.
